The bear. We always choose the bear.
Do Not Touch Me transmutes unwanted attention, lust, creepy energy, hostility, and misogyny into protection. It works by making your presence hazy, causing those who approach you with ill intent to lose focus.
You don't owe anyone access to you. Not your body, your attention, or your energy. May what approaches you with malice lose sight of you, lose interest in you, and lose its way to you. Let their gaze pass over you. Let their advances fall flat. May you move through the world protected and safe.
This artwork came from a 1700s occult book that lives in England. Originally, the sash across her body was adorned with sigils. I don’t like sharing anything I don’t energetically understand or feel connected to. But the first page of this book bore the Latin words Noli Me Tangere, meaning “Do Not Touch Me.” Immediately, it felt right to replace the sigils with these words.
